Sunday Worship Guide

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here today.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE PRECAUTIONS DURING SERVICES

  • Wear a mask at all times while inside the building
  • Use hand sanitizer when you walk in and anytime you’re up and about
  • Maintain 2m distance from others
  • Register your family for AHS contact tracing

Our meeting room at Hamptons Golf Club allows us to safely comply with the current restrictions for religious services. We will update this page and email our church members if we need to modify our current arrangement.

GET CONNECTED

If this is your first time here at Hope Church, WELCOME! We are so glad you are here today! We’d love to connect with you more through our online Connect Card. It’s a place where you can learn more about who we are and what we do as a church and how you can be a part. You select what you want to know and we’ll contact you this week.

RESOURCING YOU SO YOU CAN DISCIPLE YOUR KIDS

At Hope Church we believe that everyone is welcome to be part of God’s family; this includes our children. As we enter a season as a church family where we will be having family services, we have provided a Family Guide (button below) for how to best include children in the worship experience, while providing practical tips for parents so you can worship and grow as well!

Also, whether you’re at home or joining us in-person, click the Kids Resources button below to view and download our kids resources for you to use today. There you’ll be able to access our weekly Kids Lesson Video that has this week’s Bible lesson, memory verse, song and craft demonstration.

WORSHIP GATHERINGS

From January through June, we will continue hosting in-person worship services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 10:30am. Every Sunday’s service will continue to be live on Zoom for those worshiping from home.

NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

The Sage Hill Retirement Residence (where we met for worship pre-covid) has some unique volunteer opportunities available that I think many of us would love to be a part of! They still cannot have volunteers come into the building, but are asking for volunteers to do things like having a video call with residents who are feeling lonely. If you are interested in doing this or would like to know of other opportunities there, please email their Director Samantha Stewart at sstewart@allseniorscare.com and let her know you are from Hope Church and would like to volunteer.

NEW STUDENT/YOUNG PRO COMMUNITY GROUP

We have several students and young professionals in our church who are forming a new Community Group that fits their age and stage in life. This group will be led by Siseung and Jayeon and is open to university students, young adult professionals, single adults, and couples without kids. This new group will start this Friday Feb 26 at 7pm on Zoom. Visit our Groups page (menu tab at top of page) to get connected with the group leader and get more details!

SUBMIT A SERMON QUESTION

Have a question about what Christians believe? Fill out this form and we’ll try to answer them during a sermon!

CONNECT WITH OTHERS

Whether you are a Christian or not, join one of our online groups and connect with others as we discuss the meaning of a Bible passage, pray for each other and discuss ways we can serve each other and our neighbours. Currently all of our groups are online and will resume Jan 6, 2020.

ONLINE GIVING

At Hope Church, we believe that Every Resource Is a Gift to Be Given. Your financial generosity is an investment in helping us multiply the mission to connect even more of our neighbours to Christ and each other. Online giving is safe and simple!

WORSHIP ANYTIME

Can’t make it Sunday at 10:30am in-person or online? Not a problem! View the whole worship service anytime with our on demand viewing options.

SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!
